Dear friends,
The path to hope for understanding and détente requires a great deal of patience from all of us.
We have all been waiting a long time for true peace in the world.
But it seems we will have to wait patiently longer.
Terrorists, extremists and anti-Semites are once again seeking to destroy our hope for a peaceful world – as if the unspeakable suffering of the Jews during the Nazi era had never happened.
It’s unbelievable!
Now, in Germany, in Europe and in many other countries around the world, we need all our strength to counter the inhuman and destructive energy of hatred. Even though it takes strength, we must not give up.
That is why we want to do everything we can in the new Jewish year to stand by our Jewish friends.
Even though there are currently no signs of the situation easing and more and more innocent people are suffering from the consequences of terrorism, we will not stop working and praying for peace.
Our dear Jewish friends in Be’er Sheva and everywhere in the world, our thoughts and hearts remain forever connected to you.
No power can separate us.
We stand together.
